Fossils: Pieces of the Past
Dinosaurs-- a concept we are all familiar with. But how did we discover the existence of these prehistoric beasts? Through fossils, of course! Fossils are the remains of ancient organisms that have been preserved through one of the many methods of fossilization. The scientists that study fossils are called paleontologists.
