There are multitudinous types of fossiils that have been discovered. Some examples are:
*Mold Fossils- fossilized impressions found in the soil
*Cast Fossil- formed when an impression is filled in
*Trace Fossils (Ichnofossils)- fossilized gastrolilths (rocks used to help grind food), burrows, footprints, etc.
*True Form Fossils- Fossils of an organisms body parts, or of the whole organism itself
