Famous Paleontologists
Many paleontologists have made discoveries considered important developments for science and history. Some notable names are:
*Roy C. Andrews- discovered the fist dinosaur eggs.
*Sue Hendrickson- found an almost complete T-Rex fossil. The tyrannosaurus is named Sue in her honor, and is currently located at Chicago's Field Museum.
*Alfred Wegener- proposed the theories of continental drift and Pangea.
*Othniel Marsh- named around 500 newly discovered species of fossilized animals and plants, including the Stegosaurus and Allosaurus.
